Privacy Policy

Introduction

This policy explains how the PocketRev app ("the App") handles your information. The App is provided by Stephen McBride ("we", "us"). By using the App you agree to this policy.

Information the App accesses

• Google account details: when you sign in with Google, the App receives your basic profile information and email address to identify your account.
• AdMob reporting data: with your permission, the App reads your Google AdMob reports (read-only) so it can show your earnings and statistics.

Where your data is stored

Your Google sign-in tokens are stored securely on your device (in the device keychain / keystore), and your AdMob report data is stored in a local database on your device. We do not run our own servers to store this data; it is exchanged directly between your device and Google's APIs.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App shows advertisements served by Google AdMob. To deliver and measure ads, AdMob may collect and use device information and advertising identifiers. You can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings. Google's use of this information is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and its advertising policies.

Analytics (Firebase / Google Analytics)

The App uses Firebase / Google Analytics to understand how the App is used and to improve it. This may include app interactions and events, device and operating system information, and approximate location derived from your IP address. This information is processed by Google and governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Google API scopes

The App requests the following Google permissions: your basic profile, your email address, and read-only access to your AdMob reports. The App's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

How your information is shared

Information is shared with Google as described above (for sign-in, ads, and analytics). We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other third parties except as needed to provide the App or as required by law.

Data retention and deletion

Data stored on your device remains until you sign out or delete the App, which removes the App's local data and stored tokens. You can revoke the App's access to your Google account at any time in your Google account settings. Data held by Google is retained and deleted according to Google's own policies.

Children

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the effective date above.
